It may sounds weird to you but Ayumi wrote this song solely to thanks her 'Microphone'. In the first paragraph, she emphasizes that no matter how much changes there are, she will still be her; the one who finishes what she started. Of course there will be times where she reached her limit and wishes to be alone. On these days, she doesn't wish to perform (refuse to use her 'Microphone'). If she never meet her 'Microphone', Ayumi will not be the now Ayumi. Thanks to her 'Microphone', Ayumi found the place where she belongs... the place where she has been searching for. Ayumi is greatful and never regret this fate of hers with her 'Microphone'. Her 'Microphone' helped her alot and she is not prepare to leave it thus she doesn't want to meet the perfect melody yet.
